Nestled on the slopes of the Judean Hills, near to the biblical Elah Valley just to the west of Jerusalem, lies Agur Winery.
The winery was established in 1999 by Shuki Yashuv, a well-spoken craftsman and winemaker regarded as a pioneer of Israeli wine. From its three vineyards, Agur produces a unique range of wines that each express an intriguing sense of place.
Since 2020, the winery has been undergoing a process of renewal with the addition of two partners: Elad Katz, a resident of Elah Valley and former CEO of high-end Israeli winery Domaine du Castel. And Eyal Drory, who studied wines in Piedmont, Italy and has broad experience with wineries in Italy, Crete and Israel, including Recanati & Sea Horse.
All three are connected by a deep love for the craft of winemaking, the region itself, and for sharing the beauty of wine with others. Each wine they make is an expression of a particular person and place. Restless creativity, friendship, and the ongoing pursuit of excellence guide the Agur Winery’s team on a journey that ends in the bottle that arrives on your table.

White
An aromatic & well-balanced blend. Complex and rich on the one hand, with fresh, crisp minerality on the other. Approximately half of the wine was fermented in old barrels and left on its lees. Offers a Spring expression of the fruit, flowers, and rocks of the Judean Hills region.
A complex, rich, velvety and understated blend. A faithful representation of local terroir through the different varieties. The wine was fermented and aged on its lees in barrels for nine months.
Composition: Roussanne-based blend with Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Viognier
rose
A rich rose, to have with meat and fish, but also just to enjoy! Aromas of citrus peels, rose petals and minerality are characteristic of the Judean region.
Composition: Cabernet Franc, Grenache and Mourvèdre blend
red
A juicy blend with floral aromas, a hint of local herbs and sour red fruit flavors. Medium bodied with a long finish.
Composition: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah Carignan and Garancha Tintorera
A rich, deep and elegant blend that developed for 14 months in French oak barrels. Deep crimson color, accompanied by aromas of violets, red fruit, spices and herbs. Delicate, medium body. A Mediterranean wine to accompany Mediterranean cuisine.
Composition: 70% Syrah, 30% Mourvèdre
A specially selected and nurtured blend. A wine with deep and dark aromas, full bodied and velvety. It was aged for two years in part-new and part-used barrels. It has flavors of black fruit, ripe black olives, anise, with an earthiness, good acidity and a long finish.
Composition: a selected blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Syrah, Carignan Syrah and Petit Verdot
