In the Alicante region of south-eastern Spain lies the 19th century estate of the Verdú family, once led by the legendary Doña Josefa Verdú.
Together with her husband, Don Carlos Verdú, she managed to reveal the hidden treasures of their native soil. With her passion and great knowledge of winemaking, she managed to obtain excellent harvests and great quality wine. Doña Josefa Verdú started exporting to the USA and Cuba, earning her international accolades when she won the “The Honor Medal” for the best wine at the world ́s fair held in Chicago in 1893.
Nowadays, near the old estate is a modern winery called “Vivanza” where famous winemaker Celestino Gomez Verdú produces top class wines. The new Vivanza Winery was built in 2009 close to the old “La Alberquilla” winery, Spanish for “The Inn”. The winery is equipped with the most modern winemaking technology.
Covering a total of 220 hectares, the winery’s vineyards can be found on the foothills of “Sierra del Carche”, close to the small wine village of Pinoso. Here they grow a diverse range of grapes, from white varietals like Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier and Verdil, to red varietals like Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Tempranillo, Monastrell, and Pinot Noir. At an altitude of 500 meters (~1,600ft) on the south-eastern slope, the vineyards enjoy ideal conditions for growing grapes. The climate is characterized by very hot, dry summers and cold winters. During the summer there are temperature differences of ~20°C between day and night, which benefits the pigmentation and dryness of the wine.

Brut
Pale yellow, with delicate bubbles and creamy texture. Yeast and patisserie notes with a faint fruity background, such as pineapple and banana. Fine presence on the palate, slightly sweet on the attack, but perfectly balanced, fresh and elegant. The fine presence of carbonic makes it refreshing and an ideal complement to lighten digestions.

Intense and attractive redcurrant color. Fine bubbles and mousse. Dominated by berries such as cherries, blackberries, raspberry with a base of mature plum and slight evolution of the lees. On the palate, it is young, fruity, fresh, and totally Mediterranean.

Very clean, pale yellow color. Aromas of tropical fruits combined with elegant varietal notes. Very fruity, intense, and smooth on the palate with a clean and persistent finish.

Pomegranate purple color of great intensity. Balsamic aromas of ripe black fruit. Spicy and mineral notes with hints of oak. The palate is firm, lively, flavorful with elegant, valve tannins. Persistent and round.

Intense red violet color. Fruity and varietal aroma emphasizing its aging in oak barrels. Balanced and smooth on the palate with rounded and mature tannins. Great finish of the ripe fruit with mineral and balsamic notes.
